Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 November 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how BODCORE (“BODCORE”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use the BODCORE construction management platform, and when we contact you by SMS text message through the BODCORE messaging program. It applies to our website, our platform and our text messaging program.
Who we are
BODCORE is a construction management platform operated for internal business use by our staff, subcontractors and project teams. Our registered Brand name for messaging is BODCORE, and our SMS program is provided under the name BODCORE Site Alerts.
One policy applies
This is the only privacy policy that applies to the BODCORE platform and to the BODCORE Site Alerts text messaging program. Any privacy notice, policy or statement that appears to conflict with this page does not apply to our messaging program.
Information we collect
- Account and profile details: name, work email address, role and project assignment.
- Mobile phone number and your SMS opt-in preference, together with a record of how and when you consented to receive text messages.
- Operational records you or your team enter into the platform, such as site sign-ins, inductions, timesheets, safety inspections, incidents, permits, checklists and tasks.
- Photos, documents, signatures and files uploaded to the platform.
- Technical information generated by using the service, such as log data, device type and approximate location captured on a form submission where that field is used.
- Records of the messages we send you, including delivery status and acknowledgement, so we can operate the alerting and escalation process.
How we use your information
- To operate the platform and provide the features you and your team use.
- To send service and safety messages by SMS, including safety alerts, action item and task assignments, permit and approval notifications, reminders, and escalation chases where a message has not been acknowledged.
- To meet health, safety, quality, environmental and employment record obligations.
- To maintain the security, integrity and audit trail of our records.
- To respond to your requests and provide support.
We use your mobile number only to deliver the operational and safety messages described in this policy. We do not use your mobile number or messaging consent data for marketing or promotional purposes.
How you opt in to text messages
You opt in inside the BODCORE platform. When you are set up as a user, or when you update your notification settings, you provide your own mobile number and actively tick a consent checkbox that describes the messages you will receive. That consent is recorded against your user profile with the time and date it was given, and it can be withdrawn at any time.
You may also opt in through our public sign-up page at BODCORE Site Alerts sign-up, or in writing when you give your mobile number and consent to a BODCORE representative on site. In every case, consent is given by you directly, the wording you agreed to is recorded, and consent is never a condition of purchase, employment or access to the platform.

SMS messaging program
Where you provide a mobile number and opt in, BODCORE Site Alerts sends you SMS text messages relating to your work, including safety alerts, action item and task notifications, permit and approval notifications, reminders and escalation chases. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages.
Message frequency varies depending on your role, your projects and operational activity — typically several messages per week, and no more than about 20 messages per month.
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are set by your mobile carrier.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out of SMS at any time, or reply HELP for help. You can also withdraw consent or change your number in your notification settings in the platform. Opting out of SMS does not affect your access to the platform, and the same notifications remain available there.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your mobile network and device.
Mobile information is never shared for marketing
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Information sharing with subcontractors that provide support services for us, such as hosting, file storage and message delivery, is permitted only so they can deliver the messaging service on our behalf. All other use categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How we share information
Aside from the messaging statement above, we share information only with service providers who help us run the platform (for example hosting, file storage and messaging delivery providers), and where required by law, regulation or a lawful request. Those providers are permitted to use the information only to deliver the service to us, and they may not use it for their own marketing.
We do not sell personal information.
Data retention and security
Information is retained for as long as needed to meet our operational, contractual and legal record-keeping obligations, then deleted or de-identified. Access is restricted by user role, records are stored in access-controlled systems, and only authorised personnel can view personal information.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may opt out of SMS messaging at any time by replying STOP or by updating your notification settings. Requests can be made through your BODCORE administrator or your usual BODCORE contact.
Contact us
For any question about this policy, our messaging program or your information, reply HELP to any BODCORE message, or contact your BODCORE administrator or your usual BODCORE representative.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the date it was last updated. Material changes affecting our messaging program will be notified to users of the platform.
